We made a day Trip to Leiden and were really happy we chose Teds as our first stop of the day for breakfast. The location was cozy and we loved the decoration. The staff was really friendly and they even gave us some nice recommendations for the day. The food was tasty, coffee was great. There are many vegetarian and vegan options as well. Even if it‘s a minor detail I have to mention the little brownie piece you get when ordering a hot drink because it was just soooooooo good!

Teds in Leiden is a sweet and highly Instagrammable brunch spot! The ambiance and decor are perfect for capturing beautiful moments. While the service was a bit slow, the staff's friendliness more than made up for it. The delicious brunch options and charming atmosphere make it worth a visit. A delightful place to enjoy a leisurely brunch with friends or family.
The Chicken & Donut was quite an experience but in a positive way. I really liked the combination of flavours and will definitely order it again! The restaurant is also really cozy, we were sitting upstairs where it was pretty nice!
Tasty food and nice to sit outside on a tree lined street. Food came pretty quickly after we ordered. Bathrooms are upstairs. We ordered breakfast burritos which were fine, but the sweeter foods look more delicious. Lemon and ginger tea had giant slices of ginger root. Amazing. I'd suggest getting cocktails and something sweet to eat.

Despite its small and quaint exterior, the two-story venue surprised us with its spacious and welcoming interior. The humorous artwork and our server Imogen's friendliness added a warm touch right from the start. During our two-hour visit, the allure of the brunch menu was so strong that each of us ended up enjoying two dishes. I started with a Croque Madam, paired with a super-sized Mocha Coffee with an extra shot of espresso, and followed it with French toast topped with syrup, cinnamon, banana, and bacon. The freshness, temperature, and presentation of the food were spot on, making each dish a satisfying experience. The diversity of the menu was impressive, catering seamlessly to our group's range of dietary needs and allergies. The staff's efficiency extended to providing WiFi assistance, enabling us to eat, discuss, and work without interruption. This level of service, alongside the quality of the food and the venue's ability to accommodate our diverse needs, made TED's stand out. Comparing TED's to another venue we visited during my 48-hour trip to Leiden, TED's was the highlight. It managed to deliver an exceptional dining experience that combined good food, reasonable prices, and excellent service, setting a high standard for what a brunch spot in Leiden can offer.
Love the brunch theme! The entore menu is available all day!! Love it. Waiters are nice and help you choose. The venue looms stunning!!! The terras is small, but very inviting with trees and lovely shaded tables. The chairs are not so comfortable though. We both choose their famous french toast, my sister had the kinder bueno verison with chocolate and nutella. Mine came with banana, maple syrup and bacon. They were booth delicious .
